During our Christmas stay, we enjoyed the beautiful festive decorations throughout the hotel. the various themed Christmas trees in each room added a touch of charm to the overall atmosphere. the location of the hotel was ideal, providing stunning views of the surrounding countryside and easy access to nearby attractions. Finally, we were pleased with the comfortable beds, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring.
We found the rooms to be a bit cramped, with sloping roofs and not the cleanest conditions. There were also some maintenance issues, such as a damp patch on the ceiling and cracked bathroom tiles.

Beautiful gardens, the place is 1 km away from the Callander downtown. A view of the garden from our window.

Super cosy and a fantastic garden. We were unfortunately only 1 night, but would book again in any case - if possible a few days longer.

We had a wonderful stay at a charming country house surrounded by beautiful grounds and a river. The traditional decor of the public rooms added to the cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The staff we encountered were exceptionally polite and helpful. Our room, although a standard one, was clean and the beds were comfortable. The TV channels provided entertainment during our downtime. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in a beautiful room, with the highlight being the best porridge we've ever had! The waiting staff were faultless in their service. I would highly recommend this peaceful and relaxing place for a memorable stay.

The service at dinner was excellent.
The furniture, especially in the bathroom, was a bit older and the dome on the bathroom ceiling looked very dirty.

The hotel is reminiscent of a chateau on the Loire, not a design hotel, but individual, high-quality furnishings from the time, fireplace room, English bar, award-winning cuisine, large park, seating at the house with attentive service, it is not cheap, but worth every euro. We enjoyed it. Any time again!

The boss of the hotel, who obviously is also active in the service, showed an impersonal and hectic way towards us guests and did not spread any cordial atmosphere. The price-performance ratio is not right, because the prices for overnight stays are far too high and this hotel does not invite you to come back !

I recently stayed at a charming country house with beautiful gardens and a delightful ambiance. The public rooms were like stepping back in time with open fires, cozy furniture, and elegant decor. My favorite spot was the library room where we enjoyed lunchtime snacks by the crackling fire. The bedrooms had a high standard of comfort with unique touches. The highlight of our stay was the tasting menu, which was faultless and enjoyed by everyone. The service throughout the hotel was excellent. I highly recommend this unique venue for a memorable stay.

The morning meal could have been improved with a wider selection of options.
